Ecological Folklore

Ecological Folklore is an artistic practice exploring the power of storytelling with a more-than-human lens. In an age of unravelling ecologies, Ecological Folklore uses multimedia, installation, film and natural forms to root us back into relationship with the world. Imagination is an ecology, and folklore a way of seeding futures through shared ecologies of reciprocity, care and belonging. Our work embraces decay and compost as fertile ground from which new, unexpected work can emerge. Ecological Folklore asks us all to imagine differently:  to co-create stories where humans are not separate from, but are entangled with the living breathing world.
